Moving Out!!!

So it is official, we are moving out! We have someone who wanted to rent our home for the summer. What could be better? We are headed to Utah and if things don't work out we can always come back to our great place. If we decide that we like it in Utah and can work from there, the renters will sign a year lease. Win .... Win situation. So I hope our family is ready for us ..... because here we come!

Mother's Day

So we take this time each year to honor our Mothers. Sometimes Mother's Day is great and sometimes it is just another day. Case in point, today one Mother was left by her family at church and we had to give her a ride home. Of course this was not on purpose just an oversight. This was not so great for her, but one day will make a great story. Not only do we love our children, we love all the art work. Here were a few items given to me this year and I could not ask for anything more. Who ever thought a self portrait could be so great! On the long days of crying, wiping noses, running to lessons, remember their sweet kisses given today and feel loved.

So we recently had another birthday for our middle posie who is 7, and it seems it is the birthday that never stops giving. While visiting family, grandma was kind enough to gather all the cousins and have cake and of course a few presents. I say a few but our families are big. Then to return home and have our little family party. What about the friend party middle posie asked? We are all partied out, this posie will have to wait until next year.

First Day of School

So here we are in the middle of the school year and our littlest one is off to school. Today was her first day of school. With all those older sisters she was ready to get out of here. Not only that, what could be better than door to door service on the bus .... got to love that. But I have to say that my heart was just a little sad, she seems so young. After she left today I turned to Mark and said what should we do now? Free time what is that? Today was an exciting day for her a little sad for me. Got to love the baby of the family they know how to work it. Did you notice the silly smile?

Another Year Gone By

So the baby is no longer the baby she once was. Today was her 3rd birthday and of course she was the queen bee. Not only does she have sisters to wait on her but also her parents. She was spoiled rotten and the truth is not only today...... but every day. Love doing it, hope we are not creating a monster.

Always Happens in 3's

So over all we are pretty healthy..... my favorite but when it rains it pours. So last fall one member of our household finally got his ACL replaced due to a ski jump injury that happened a few years ago. He still thinks he is 20 until events like an ACL tear occurs. But due to circumstances out of our control the graft used for the ACL repair went bad. So here we are months later trying it again. The day after surgery we are home and trying to get better and in comes middle posie to state that her sister has crashed on her scooter and needs help. Out I go to find her in the street with a cracked helmet and a very sore wrist. 24 hrs later we are in the ER with a bad wrist. So I have heard that things always happen in 3's so we are almost done. Hopefully the third thing will not be to bad as I am ready for good

Doing Whatever

So it has been awhile since my last post. It has been busy of course and you may ask what we have been doing? I guess we have been working on our plan and who knows what it is .......still working on that. But we did get a chance to get away and ski over my birthday and that is always good. Towards the end of that amazing day the girls were actually skiing with me on my runs. Not that that says much but ....... how fun!
